Asset Protection

Asset protection can be used to archive your assets more safely. Admins have now the possibility to protect assets, which will block the possibility of deleting / moving the asset or related metadata. This permission can be enabled for custom user roles as well. Asset protection is done on database level, which means that API calls are also restricted on protected assets.

Assets can be protected via More > Add Protection 

When an asset is protected it cannot be edited. The protection can be removed from More > Remove Protection

Multiple assets can be protected or the protection can be removed at the same time via bulk edit tool. Protected assets display a lock icon on the thumbnail image.
