Duplicate Asset or Project

Via the 'More' dropdown, you may copy an individual asset or a full project. 

With the 'Duplicate' function, you may, for example, create a new placeholder and keep all added metadata without the need to rewrite everything if you need the same data for several assets.

 

Duplicate Asset

Duplicate lets you create a duplicate of an asset inside the same project. When copying an asset you may select:

- Copy original media: If enabled, a duplicate of the media file is created. If disabled, a placeholder is created.

- Copy custom Fields: If enabled, all custom field groups with content will be copied.

- Copy Attachments: If enabled, duplicates of the attachments are created and associated with the copied asset.

Duplicate Project

In addition to the settings of duplicating an asset, duplicating a project includes the possibility to copy all its assets, members, and sub projects.

- Copy members: If enabled, all project members will be automatically added to the new duplicate project

- Copy assets: If enabled, all assets are duplicated to the new project

- Copy sub projects: If enabled, the full project hierarchy is duplicated to the new project
